2026 Ocean Sciences Meeting – Call for GEOTRACES session proposals

Dear colleagues,

The deadline to propose Sessions and Town Halls for the 2026 Ocean Sciences Meeting (22-27 February 2026, Glasgow, Scotland) is 28 May 2025 (please find more information below).

We would like to strongly encourage you to submit a GEOTRACES session and to kindly inform the International Project Office (IPO, ipo@geotraces.org) about it before 15 May 2025.

We will share information about potential sessions on similar topics among the proponents so that they can coordinate their sessions before submitting their proposals rather than being required to merge sessions after the program committee has reviewed the session proposals. At the same time this will ensure that your session is publicised to the GEOTRACES community.

We invite you to submit a proposal to the Ocean Sciences Meeting 2026! OSM is the flagship conference for the ocean sciences and the larger ocean-connected community. Every two years, the Ocean Sciences Meeting unifies the oceans community to share findings, connect scientists from around the world, and advance the impact of science. The Ocean Sciences Meeting 2026 is co-sponsored by the American Geophysical Union (AGU), the Association for the Sciences of Limnology and Oceanography (ASLO), and The Oceanography Society (TOS).
