1st GEOTRACES Intercalibration Workshop

Overview
The first GEOTRACES Intercalibration Cruise is scheduled for 10 June – 13 July 2008 for work at the BATS Station and near the shelf-break, leaving from and returning to Norfolk, Virginia with a port call in St. Georges, Bermuda. Well before the cruise we need to assemble all the participants (direct and indirect) for a planning workshop to discuss all the details of such a complicated cruise (multiple and potentially conflicting objectives).
Anyone who is planning to go on the cruise must attend, and at least one representative of the self-organizing groups for specific trace elements (e.g., the Si isotope, Ra, Th, Nd, etc groups) also needs to attend. Others who are not participating directly on the cruise, but would like to attend are welcome.
