Dear colleagues,

Please find below the call for session and workshop proposals for the Goldschmidt conference 2027 (11 – 16 July 2027, Paris, France). The submission deadline is October 15, 2026. We encourage you to submit GEOTRACES sessions for inclusion in the programme.

Important:
If you are planning to propose a GEOTRACES Session or Workshop for this conference, inform the International Project Office (IPO, ipo@geotraces.org) before October 1, 2026. This early communication will allow us to:

  • Publicise your session within the GEOTRACES community in due time.
  • Facilitate coordination among proponents of related sessions, avoiding post-submission merges.

Call for Session and Workshop Proposals
Now Open

The Goldschmidt science program is built from the ground up with contributions from scientists around the world. We invite the entire geochemistry community to submit suggestions for sessions and workshops to help create another great conference. The deadline for proposals is 15 October.

Submit a Session
Review the list of themes to determine the best one for your proposed session. Sessions should have a broad reach and aim to attract at least 25-30 abstract submissions.

Submit a Workshop
We welcome proposals for workshops to be held in Paris before the conference. Learn more about organizing a workshop.

15 October 2026 – Session and Workshop Proposals Deadline

December 2026 – Abstract Submission, Grant, and Student Helper Applications Open

11 February 2027 – Grant Application Deadline

25 February 2027 – Abstract Deadline

25 May 2027 – Early Registration Deadline

11–16 July 2027 – Goldschmidt 2027 in Paris, France
