GEOTRACES scientist Jay Cullen on Canadian astronaut shortlist

Congratulations to Jay Cullen, member of the GEOTRACES Scientific Steering Committee (SSC), who is now on the shortlist to become one of Canada’s next astronauts. 

He says: “It combines all of the things I am so interested in – being an oceanographer, being a professor, research and exploration”.  Experiences at sea aboard research vessels has helped prepare him for the rigours of space travel.
