2025 Chemical Oceanography Gordon Research Conference

I am very proud of the amazing lineup planned for this summer’s Chemical Oceanography Gordon Research Conference: https://www.grc.org/chemical-oceanography-conference/2025

The Chem Oc GRC will be held July 20-25 2025 at Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester, NH, about an hour north of Boston, MA in the U.S. This is the same venue as the last Chem Oc GRC in 2023. It will be preceded by a 2-day Gordon Research Seminar (GRS) for graduate students and postdocs.

As you may know, the GRC is a unique conference that focuses on the presentation of cutting edge, unpublished research, and prioritizes time for discussion after each talk. A poster session each afternoon allows all participants to share their work with each other covering all topics related to chemical oceanography. For those that were there last time, we’ve asked to have more space and will organize it so that it will be less crowded. For those who have never been to a GRC or haven’t been in a while, we welcome you! The format fosters informal interactions among scientists of all career stages over the course of this 5-day long conference. It is my favourite conference.

The application deadline is June 22, 2025, but don’t delay too long, as we are only able to accept 200 applicants, and we’re already over half full.

The registration fee for the GRC is $1350 and covers meeting costs and room and board for 5 days.
