2022 Ocean Sciences Meeting – Call for session proposals – Please contact the IPO in advance

Dear colleagues,

The deadline to propose sessions and tutorials for the 2022 Ocean Sciences Meeting (February 27 – March 4, 2022 – Honolulu, USA) is May 26, 2021 (please find more information below).

We kindly remind to those planning a GEOTRACES Session for this conference to inform the International Project Office (IPO, ipoNO SPAM -- FILTER@NO SPAM -- FILTERgeotraces.org) before May 12, 2021.

We will share information about potential sessions on similar topics among the proponents so that they can coordinate their sessions before submitting their proposals rather than being required to merge sessions after the program committee has reviewed the session proposals. At the same time this will ensure that your session is publicised to the GEOTRACES community.

The call for scientific sessions, tutorials and innovative sessions is available here: https://osm2022.secure-platform.com/a/

Thank you very much,
GEOTRACES International Project Office

Dear colleague,

The online system for submitting proposals for sessions and tutorials for the 2022 Ocean Sciences Meeting is now open.

OSM22 returns to Honolulu, Hawaii, and you also have the opportunity to join from your own location. To increase accessibility, OSM22 will include virtual components in addition to in-person sessions. We welcome submissions of diverse session topics to advance ocean science!

We also invite creative programming by calling for submissions of innovative sessions. These sessions allow for flexibility by using a mix of existing and new formats as well as potentially presenting in virtual and hybrid settings. The potential formats include (but are not limited to) breakout groups, work sessions and more, lasting from 2 hours to half a day.

We’re excited to see what you submit to shape the scientific program for #OSM22.

Deadline for Submissions: 26 May 2021.
