Impressive number of datasets submitted by the final IDP2021 deadline
More than 2,760 datasets have been registered in DOoR by the 2021 GEOTRACES Intermediate Data Product (IDP2021) final deadline of December 15, 2020!!!
This should result in an excellent IDP. Thanks to all data submitters for meeting the deadline!
We remind you that processing of data for inclusion in IDP2021 will prioritise those submitted before the May 15, 2020 deadline and then will prioritise section cruises over process studies over compliant data submitted by the deadline of December 15, 2020 (please see below what meeting the final deadline required).
Note that the GEOTRACES DOoR portal continues to be open and we continue to accept submissions. Datasets received after the final deadline of December 15, 2020 will be processed for inclusion in a next IDP.
Please ensure that you have granted permission for your data to be included in IDP2021 (using the GEOTRACES DOoR) as this is essential for the release of the IDP.
Finally, we draw your attention to the fact that data included in IDP2021 will be covered by the terms of the IDP2021 Fair Use Agreement, which replaces the existing registration step. The IDP2021 Fair Use Agreement will also cover all data from IDP2017 included into IDP2021.
