Expression of Interest for an Ultra-Clean “Dishwasher”

Dear colleagues from the GEOTRACES community,

We hope that this new year finds you well, and we wish you a happy 2022 year!

We take the opportunity of the GEOTRACES list to present a project that may help to lessen a shared burden (or at least part of it), ie washing heaps of bottles for sampling and analysing trace elements. We would like to develop an ultra-clean dishwasher (only for the rinsing steps, which are the most time consuming) that would be as efficient as the GEOTRACES protocol for washing 60 mL LDPE bottles. At the beginning, we would focus on the trace metals that we analyse at LEMAR/IUEM (France) : Pb, Co, Cu, Zn, Mn, Fe.
