Congratulations to Karen Casciotti!

Karen Casciotti, co-chair of the GEOTRACES Scientific Steering Committee, will receive the 2020 John Hayes Award from the Geochemical Society.

The 2020 John Hayes Award is given to a mid-career scientist for outstanding accomplishments that draw together multiple fields of investigation to advance biogeochemical science. Prof. Casciotti is Assistant Professor of Earth System Science at Stanford University (USA). She is recognised for innovative research on the marine nitrogen cycle.
