GEOTRACES Early Career mixer at Goldschmidt 2025

The annual Goldschmidt conference is a major event in the GEOTRACES calendar for members to connect and share research. This year, the conference was held in the second week of July in beautiful Prague, Czech Republic.

To help stimulate networking for early career scientists (ECS), the GEOTRACES Early Career Science committee hosted an ECS GEOTRACES-Goldschmidt social on the evening of Tuesday, 8 July. Forty-four ECS attended from all over the world, many meeting each other for the first time. Attendees networked, invited each other to talks, sessions, and posters, and voiced what they would like to see from the ECS committee via a short survey.

The event was a great success, and a lot of fun! The ECS committee would like to thank the GEOTRACES and SCOR for supporting the event with food and drink.
