Biogeochemistry Lab Research Assistant, Stanford University, USA

The Marine Biogeochemistry Laboratory at Stanford University is hiring a full-time Research Assistant for laboratory management and project-based research.  This will be 3-year fixed-term position with the possibility for extension based on performance and the availability of funding. Projects in the lab focus on marine nitrogen cycle biogeochemistry using stable isotope techniques. In addition to essential job functions focused on lab management and isotope ratio mass spectrometer maintenance, it is expected that the candidate will contribute to specific research projects by performing and assisting with experiments, training new students and personnel, and remaining current with new procedures and related research. Travel and field work opportunities may be available.
