Assistant Professor of Marine Chemistry, University of Southern Mississippi, USA

The Division of Marine Science in the School of Ocean Science and Engineering (SOSE) at The University of Southern Mississippi invites qualified applicants for a full-time, 9-month, tenure-track faculty position in Marine Chemistry at the assistant level to begin in August 2024. We are particularly interested in candidates who can make use of existing analytical infrastructure for trace element analysis, including a high resolution ICP-MS, clean lab, and other related equipment. Salary packages will be nationally competitive and commensurate with experience.

This hire is part of a coordinated effort by USM’s SOSE to expand our research and teaching capabilities across our school.
